You're not falling apart. You're crossing over.

Perimenopause asks everything of you — your sleep, your patience, your sense of self. It shifts your body, your relationships, your tolerance for anything that no longer fits.

Most women are told to manage it. Minimize it. Get through it.

This invitation says something different:

What if this is the most important crossing of your life?

The Threshold is a 7-day journey for women in the middle of the change — not to push through it, not to manage it, but to meet it. To find the woman who's been waiting on the other side of all that letting go.

You’re not falling apart.
You’re standing at a threshold.

7 - Day Rite of Passage

You’re not lacking discipline… your body is asking for a reset.

In 7 days, you will:

· understand why your old ways of being no longer feel right

· allow space for the parts of you that are ready to end

· move through grief, truth, and emotional honesty

· reconnect to your inner authority and deeper knowing

· Acknowledge the Mother-Daughter wound

· begin stepping into the woman you are becoming - clearer, fuller, and more self-led.

and so much more…..

SOMETHING IN YOU KNOWS…

Even if you can’t fully explain it...

the way you’ve been living no longer feels like truth.

The roles that once made sense feel heavy.
The patterns you’ve carried for years feel exhausting.
The version of you that learned to hold it all together… is ready to rest.

You’re not broken.
And you don’t need fixing.

You’re being asked to let something end—
so something more honest can begin.

ANCIENT WISDOM

In many traditions, this phase of a woman’s life is not seen as a crisis…but an initiation.

In Chinese medicine, it’s known as The Second Spring
a time when a woman’s energy turns inward, not to diminish her… but to deepen her.
A season of renewal, wisdom, and quiet power.

In other lineages, this is the descent
where old identities fall away, truth is revealed, and a woman begins to reclaim herself.

This is not the end of who you are.
It’s the beginning of who you’re becoming.

The Matriarch has always been here.

She predates the word "menopause." She predates the medical chart. She was known by other names — the Elder, the Crone, the Bone Woman, the Keeper, the Wise One — and every culture that endured carried her forward as a pillar, not a footnote.

In Indigenous traditions of the Americas, the postmenopausal woman was understood to hold her blood wisdom within rather than releasing it with the moon. She became a keeper of blood — not losing it, but conserving it, transmuting it into medicine for the community. Grandmothers held council. They were consulted before war, before planting, before birth. Their dreams were treated as prophecy.

In ancient Egypt, the goddess Isis did not diminish with age — she grew more sovereign. The aging priestess was regarded as one who had survived enough initiations to hold the mysteries. To grow older in service to the sacred was not decline — it was ascension into priestesshood.

In Celtic traditions, the Crone was the third face of the Triple Goddess — Maiden, Mother, Crone — and she was not the least of the three. She was the most powerful. The one who stood at the threshold between worlds. Between life and death. Between knowing and mystery. The Cailleach in Scottish and Irish mythology was the great shaper of mountains, the bringer of winter, the one who remade the land. She was feared and revered — because true power always is.

In Hindu cosmology, the goddess Kali — dark, wild, uncontainable — represents this same energy. She is destruction that makes room for new life. She is the burning away of what no longer serves. And she is not young. She is ageless. She does not apologize for her power.

In Jungian psychology, this threshold maps to the emergence of the Self — what Carl Jung called individuation — the process of becoming fully who you are, shedding the personas built for survival and stepping into an integrated, unapologetic wholeness. He observed that this process often intensifies in midlife. Women especially. Something breaks open. And what breaks open is not you — it is the container that was always too small for you.

In West African and diasporic traditions, the Elder woman holds ase — the divine force that animates all living things. She is the one who names. The one who blesses. The one whose presence alone changes a room. She does not need permission to occupy space. She is the space.

In America, we are an obsessed youth driven culture. Rooted in Patriarchal, consumerist and capitalist mindset. The narrative is…..erase those wrinkles, loose the belly fat, inject your body with chemicals, get back to looking like a your maiden self or worse, as a skinny model.

No wonder we are all struggling so much as our bodies our changing. The narrative is you’re not OK as you are…..SISTER…you’re more than OK, you’re are stepping into the most powerful time in your life!

A 7 Day Rite of Passage

In modern culture, we have lost the art of the Rite of Passage.

There was a time when a woman's transitions were witnessed. Honored. Held by her community with ceremony and intention. The crossing from maiden to mother, from mother to elder — these were not things a woman moved through alone. They were marked. Celebrated. Treated as the sacred thresholds they are.

We have forgotten this. And women are paying the price.

In 2019, when my cycle stopped for five months, I was turning 49. Instead of quietly wondering what was happening to my body, I did something that changed me: I gathered my most cherished sisters in circle and asked them to witness me.

Each one offered her words, her prayers, her love — as I stepped across the threshold into a new archetype. The Wise Woman. The Crone. The Elder.

It was one of the most nourishing experiences of my life.

To be held like that. To have my crossing seen and honored. I didn't just want that for myself — I knew every woman deserved it.

The Wise Woman Era is about receiving.

We have spent so much of our lives giving. Pouring. Showing up for everyone before ourselves. And we will keep giving — our wisdom runs too deep, our hearts too wide, for that to ever fully stop.

But something shifts now. This era asks us to receive differently. To be cherished differently. To let the people who love us step forward and do more — and to actually let them.

The symptoms of perimenopause are not just inconveniences to manage. They are messengers. They are your body saying: slow down. something needs to change. pour your attention back into yourself.

And here is what many women don't realize: when you model that, when you finally put yourself first, you give the people around you permission to rise. You show your loved ones what it looks like to honor a woman in her power. You stop teaching them that you are infinitely available, and start teaching them that you are infinitely worthy.

This is one of the most important shifts of midlife. And it begins with you deciding this crossing matter

In this 7 day Initation, together, we move through:

Awakening → Awareness → Truth → Grief → Rage → Death → Emergence

This is not about pushing forward or becoming someone new.

It’s about:

  • telling the truth

  • feeling what’s been unspoken

  • releasing what no longer fits

  • and reconnecting to the woman beneath it all

In October 2019, I gathered my sisters around me, to hold what I didn't yet have words for. Five months had passed without blood, and I knew something sacred was ending.

THIS IS FOR YOU IF…

  • Your life looks “fine”… but inside, something feels off

  • You feel like you’ve outgrown parts of your life but don’t know what’s next

  • You’ve spent years holding it all together—and you’re tired

  • You feel unexpressed grief, anger, or truth beneath the surface

  • You’re in midlife (or approaching it) and sense there is more

  • You’re ready for depth, honesty, and real inner shift—not surface change

If you feel the pull… this is for you.

This isn’t a surface-level challenge.

And it’s not about becoming a “better version” of yourself.

This is about allowing what is no longer true to fall away—
so something real can emerge.

We make space for what most spaces avoid:

Grief.
Rage.
Truth.

And from there… something new begins.

About your guide:

Guzel Gjenasaj is a Midlife Midwife — a guide who walks women through the fire of becoming.

At 19, she ran away from an arranged marriage and her life took a direction that can only be guided by spirit.

Her work draws from two decades of circle-holding, ceremony, medicine work, and community building — including founding Cross Pollinate, a women's empowerment gathering in Los Angeles, and co-leading women's retreats in Costa Rica and Colorado.

She is a pipe carrier in the Ollintlahuimetztli tradition, initiated through Moondance in Teotihuacán, Mexico, a Reiki Master in the Usui method, and holds academic grounding in Cultural Anthropology and Transformational Psychology. In addition to years of studying (and practicing) nutrition, cleansing, fasting, Holotropic breathwork, tantra, non violent communication and so much more…thousands of hours, miles and money spent on study and healing.

Guzel's lineage is woven from many traditions — raised as a first-generation city dweller in Brooklyn, NY, and shaped by earth-based practices from Montenegro to Costa Rica. Her work integrates somatic awareness, ritual, feminine wisdom, and the deep knowing that lives inside every woman's body.

She is an Elder, Wise Woman, Crone — five years into her own menopause journey. Her prayer is to share the wisdom of this most potent time with every sister currently navigating perimenopause.

She guides women through The Radiance Reset - specifically designed to help women in midlife reclaim their health and vitality during perimenopause, and through The Threshold and The Sanctuary — containers for women ready to stop managing their midlife and start inhabiting it fully.

HOW IT WORKS

  • 7 days

  • 3 live calls

  • Private Telegram group

  • Reflection prompts + simple practices

  • Opportunity to build community of sisters navigating a similar journey

  • A space to move at your own pace, in your own way

  • And so much more…..

You don’t need hours a day.
You just need willingness.

You don’t have to have it all figured out.

You don’t need to be perfectly ready.

If something in you feels a quiet yes…
that’s enough.

This is the beginning

Because this kind of transformation doesn’t happen in 7 days…
it begins there.

If you find yourself opening, feeling, remembering something deeper—
you’ll have the opportunity to continue inside a more intimate, supported space.

But for now… just take the first step.

You are not too late.

You are not too much.

And you are not meant to stay in a life that no longer fits.

There is a woman in you: wiser, clearer, more rooted in truth

Who is ready to rise?

This is your threshold.

You don’t have to do this alone

Transformation happens faster, and deeper, in community.

This is a space where:

  • you’ll be supported

  • you’ll be witnessed

  • you’ll be held

And that changes everything.

We are in this together!

  • "The Midlife Wisdom Sanctuary helped me to connect deeply with myself in this moment of radical changes. This program taught me to look not only at the symptoms of perimenopause but also to what it represents in my life, reflecting and letting go of the past and empowering my new wiser self. The best part was being able to share my experiences, uncertainties, and my feelings with other women that are going through the same struggles helped me to feel less alone."

    -Thais Camacho

  • "A friend invited me to Guzel's fire circle and I - who know well indigenous tribes of Brazil - was wondering if this would be another "LA wannabe healer" situation. Well, I was quite surprised by the authentic open-heart ceremony that unfolded, Guzel provided a safe space for sharing both fears and aspirations, grounding our spirits with drumming, powerful Native American and Mayan songs and rituals. Whoever came in weak left the circle strong. Whoever came tired, felt energized, whoever came feeling lonely, left with hope, joy and a sense of community. Guzel is a devoted ambassador of the indigenous wisdom bringing kindness and compassion to our rough journey. A true treasure in LA"!

  • This 12-week journey through the Midlife Wisdom Sanctuary was truly medicine for my heart. Under Guzel's gentle guidance and deep well of wisdom, I felt seen, supported, and inspired in ways I didn’t even realize I needed. Her knowledge and thoughtful resources helped me not only understand my menopausal transition on a deeper level, but also gave me practical tools to support my daily routine with more grace and self-compassion. What made this experience even more powerful was the circle of women I had the honor of walking beside. Each of us came with our own stories and struggles, and together we created a space of authentic connection, trust, and mutual encouragement. Hearing the internal journeys of others allowed me to reflect on my own with more clarity. Throughout the program, I was able to reclaim parts of myself that had been overshadowed by years of caring for others. I gently released outdated beliefs that no longer matched who I am becoming. I learned to embrace new possibilities with confidence, and I found beauty in the rituals we created to honor this sacred transition. The midlife journey doesn’t have to be walked alone. In fact, it was in this supportive sanctuary that I truly began to see my own light more clearly. I’m deeply grateful for this experience and for every woman who walked this path alongside me.

  • "I was struggling so hard not knowing that there were so many issues from the past that I'd never realized where affecting my menopause symptoms. Guzel helped me give space to grief and rage that I never allowed myself to really feel. Her wisdom and kind heart held me. I recommend her Sanctuary program. It literally changed my life! Thank you Guzel!"

    Maria Rodriguez

  • "Guzel's midlife Sanctuary program came at the perfect time for me.  I was feeling isolated and alone in menopause and missing community.  From the first call I felt welcomed and comfortable to share my experience.  Guzel guides with compassion, love, grace and power.  Her laughter and the way she supports women is infectious.  I'm so grateful for the time we shared in the Sanctuary. "

    - Wahe Guru

  • "This program was medicine for my heart. I really appreciated the meditation when we began each of our sessions with. Guzel's wisdom and resources were invaluable. It was nice to get to know other women and their internal processes. This program gave me the tools to support my daily menopausal routine and the grace to accept where I'm at in my current stages. Very much appreciated. Thank you for this program Guzel!"

    Angela A.

  • "Guzel, as well as the other ladies in this group, have truly helped me to take a new look at some old stories I have had about beauty, femininity, power, acceptance! Guzel is a master at redirecting you to look underneath the "problem" and getting you to ask yourself questions like "why is this showing up for me now" and "what is my lesson here". She has been unbelievably helpful to me in the process of going beyond being frustrated by or even accepting these changes my entire being is going through as simply "part of menopause". She has helped me to see that this is not something that is being done to me, this is a time of awesome transformation that I have earned!  Since working with Guzel and the ladies in the Sanctuary, I now welcome this as the time in my life where I move ME to the front of that list, and show up for ME!!!"
